Job summary

DEYE NEW ENERGY TECHNOLOGY (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. is seeking a fresh graduate Assistant Engineer with Mandarin language skills to support equipment documentation and daily maintenance tasks on the production floor.

You will assist in PM planning, safety inspections, and ensure proper record-keeping for compliance. The role requires strong attention to detail, English and Mandarin proficiency, and willingness to learn factory equipment management and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduate with Diploma or Bachelor Degree; engineering background advantageous, open to related disciplines.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin (Mandarin a MUST for technical translation & meetings).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) for data entry and document prep.

Responsibilities

• Assist Equipment Supervisor in daily maintenance coordination and PM planning; maintain equipment checklists and records.
• Provide Mandarin-English translation & interpretation for technical documents, SOPs, compliance records and factory meetings; keep document versions updated.
• Support daily inspection, safety checks, LOTO, risk assessments and documentation for special equipment.
• Manage statutory documents: logbooks, inspection reports, certifications, compliance records; prepare audit files.
• Coordinate with external inspectors, vendors and authorities (DOSH/ST/JKKP/Bomba) under supervision.
• Assist in training record compilation for equipment safety operation & compliance requirements.
• Monitor equipment condition, record breakdowns, and support troubleshooting documentation.
• Ensure all records and activities comply with Malaysia OSH Act 1994 and Factory & Machinery Act 1967.

Assistant Engineer[Mandarin Speaker] (Equipment & Documentation, Fresh Graduate)

Assist Equipment Supervisor in daily maintenance coordination, PM (Preventive Maintenance) plan, TPM, equipment checklist and record filing.

Provide Mandarin-English translation & interpretation for technical documents, SOP, compliance records and factory meetings; maintain updated document version.

Support daily inspection, safety check, LOTO, risk assessment and documentation for special equipment.

Manage statutory documents: logbook, inspection report, certification, compliance record, prepare files for audit.

Coordinate with external inspectors, vendors and government authorities (DOSH/ST/JKKP/Bomba) under supervisor guidance.

Assist in training record compilation for equipment safety operation & compliance requirement.

Monitor equipment condition, record breakdown issue, support troubleshooting documentation.

Ensure all records and activities follow Malaysia OSH Act 1994 & Factory & Machinery Act 1967.

Requirements

Fresh Graduate (Diploma / Bachelor Degree). Engineering background is an advantage, open to other related disciplines.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) for data entry and document preparation.

Strong attention to detail, good documentation & organization skills.

Willing to learn factory equipment management, safety & DOSH compliance matters.

Good communication skills, able to work on production floor when required.

Basic Bahasa Malaysia is a plus.
