KPJ Healthcare Berhad in Malaysia is seeking a Billing / Receivables professional to manage inpatient billing, ensure accurate charges, collect payments, and handle documents for hospital admissions and discharges.
You will work with wards to finalize charges, generate bills, process discounts, and respond to company queries while maintaining compliant records and patient safety standards in a leading private healthcare network.
1. Responsible for obtaining charge tickets from wards and to finalize inpatient bills upon received all the charges for patients’ discharges.
2. Responsible to generate bill and discount bill (if required). Ensure the correct charges are charged in the bills
3. To collect payment fromself paymentcases and patient using guarantee letter
4. To fax/upload document in portal, confirm received and follow up the final guarantee letters from companies and ensure guarantee letters are obtained before patients are released
5. Prepare the complete bills to credit adminand response to any queries from companies
6. To request top up limit of coverage for patients from company (if exceeded)
7. To update in Bed Management System and excess amount to update in HITS, BO Portal
8. Ensure all the patients’ excess to be collected upon patients’ discharges and guarantee letters are received
9. Call and sendinginfoblastto patient regarding refund and payment notification.
10. Serve with kindness to all patients during their admission to hospital
11. To carried out duties as an employee as stipulated in Occupational Safety and Health Act and Regulations1994:-
12. Participate actively in any other new service that is introduced.
13. Ensure compliance ofPatientsafetygoals as safety improvement measures recommended by World Alliance for Patient Safety (2008)
14. Ensure the policies onPatientandFamily’s Rights are addressed at alltimes.
15. Ensure all Hospital policies and procedures and Hospital Accreditation are adhered to and records maintained, if and when these programs are implemented.
16. Adopt the policies and procedures of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, Malaysian Hospital Accreditation Standards and Joint Commission International Accreditation Standards
