Job summary

KPJ Healthcare Berhad is seeking a Quality Executive to support the implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System across its laboratory network. You will coordinate quality activities, manage controlled documents and records, monitor compliance, and stay aligned with accreditation requirements.

The role involves document control, internal audits, training, and delivering quality reporting to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Manage and maintain the document control system for the laboratory network.
  • Ensure proper control, review, approval, and distribution of SOPs, policies, procedures, and quality documents.
  • Ensure all documents are updated, standardized, and accessible across branches.

Responsibilities

  • Participate and conduct internal audits and inspections to ensure compliance with accreditation and organizational standards.
  • Coordinate and support laboratories during external audits and accreditation assessments.
  • Monitor and follow up on the corrective actions for audit findings.
  • Provide guidance and training to Heads of Laboratory and laboratory staff on document system management.
  • Monitor and analyze quality data, including EQA, QIA, IQC, audit findings, incidents, complaints and CAPA, to identify trends, risks and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare quality reports and dashboards for management review and support continuous quality improvement.

Job description

The Quality Executive supports the implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) by coordinating quality activities, managing controlled documents and records, monitoring compliance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The role ensures that quality documents are properly reviewed, approved, distributed, implemented, updated, and maintained in accordance with applicable standards, accreditation requirements, and organizational procedures.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Document Control

  • Manage and maintain the document control system for the laboratory network.
  • Ensure proper control, review, approval, and distribution of SOPs, policies, procedures, and quality documents.
  • Ensure all documents are updated, standardized, and accessible across branches.

Audit Activities

  • Participate and conduct internal audits and inspections to ensure compliance with accreditation and organizational standards.
  • Coordinate and support laboratories during external audits and accreditation assessments.
  • Monitor and follow up on the corrective actions for audit findings.

Training & Development
