Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture LAM Part 1 or Part 2 or equivalent professional qualification.
• Strong proficiency in architectural design software, including Revit, AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Knowledge of Malaysian building codes, regulations and planning guidelines.
• Excellent technical drawing and design communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and respond constructively to feedback.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Previous experience on commercial, residential or mixed-use projects is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and preparation of architectural drawings, designs and technical documentation for various project stages
• Support senior architects in project planning, coordination and site supervision activities
• Conduct research on building materials, construction methods, building regulations and design precedents relevant to project briefs
• Prepare presentation materials and design proposals for client presentations and meetings
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including engineers, planners and consultants to ensure integrated design solutions
• Monitor project progress and assist in ensuring compliance with building codes, regulations and sustainability standards
• Participate in site visits and inspections to assess project development and construction progress
