Job summary

RE Design & Build Sdn Bhd in Iskandar Puteri, Johor, is seeking an Assistant Architect to join our design and construction team. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply, with 0–2 years of experience considered advantageous.

You will support the architectural and project team from concept through documentation, collaborate with consultants, and gain hands-on exposure to real projects in a busy Iskandar Puteri setting.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Architecture / Architectural Studies or related field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• 0–2 years of relevant working experience is an advantage.
• Basic to proficient knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of SketchUp, Revit or other 3D software is an advantage.
• Able to read and understand architectural drawings.
• Good understanding of architectural design and construction documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in architectural design and development of projects.
• Prepare and develop plans, elevations, sections and detailed drawings.
• Produce and revise architectural drawings according to project requirements.
• Assist with authority submission drawings and documentation.
• Assist in 3D modelling, visualisation and presentation materials.
• Coordinate drawings and project information with consultants and contractors.
• Attend site visits and assist with site measurements when required.
• Assist in preparing project documentation and records.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and relevant authorities.
• Support the project team with general design and technical matters.

The Role

As an Assistant Architect, you will support the architectural and project team throughout the design and development process — from initial concepts and drawings to authority submissions, site coordination and project documentation.
