Job summary

Qualifications

• Provide on-site care to students, including escorting to clinic/hospital, information, advice and support within hostel wardenship.
• Address welfare issues and student disciplinary matters in the hostel in a sensible and timely manner and following the college Student Code and Conduct.
• Monitor and record students' movement in the hostel.
• Assist in the admission of new students into the hostel.
• Establish and maintain appropriate social contact with students.
• Provide relevant information about the students whenever required.
• Offer appropriate first aid support when needed.
• Respond to on-site emergencies during out hours (burst pipes, broken windows, burglaries, locked out of room etc.)
• Produce written reports to HOD / Management when needed.
• Handle administrative tasks related to operations such as filing, renewal or new tenancy agreements for hostel units, prepare student masterlist, hostel registration, and related duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site care to students and support in hostel settings.

• Monitor and record residents' movements, ensuring safety and compliance.
• Assist in admissions and onboarding of new hostel residents.
• Maintain positive social contact with students and provide information as needed.
• Offer first aid and respond to emergencies on site when required.
• Prepare reports for HOD/Management as needed.
• Manage hostel operations tasks including tenancy agreements and masterlists.
