Job summary

Irama Jaya Development Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Finance/Accounts Executive to join our Kedah team in Sungai Petani. This full-time role will involve maintaining accurate financial records, managing AR/AP, bank reconciliations, and general ledger activities.

You will assist with monthly/quarterly financial statements and reports, support the annual audit, and help implement efficient accounting procedures.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent
• 1–2 years of relevant finance/accounting experience
• Experience with auditors, tax agents, and external service providers
• Strong analytical and financial reporting skills, with excellent attention to detail and organizational ability
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting systems (e.g., INTSOFT, AutoCount)
• Good interpersonal and communication skills

About the role

Irama Jaya Development Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Finance/Accounts Executive to join our dynamic team in Kedah. As a full-time position, you will be responsible for managing a range of financial and accounting duties to support the overall success of the business.

What you'll be doing

Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including invoicing, accounts receivable/payable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger management

Assist with the preparation of monthly/quarterly financial statements and reports

Provide support for the annual audit and liaise with external auditors as needed

Contribute to the development and implementation of efficient accounting procedures and controls

Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as required

What we're looking for

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent

Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in finance/accounting, ideally in the property development OR Construction industry.

Experience working with auditors, tax agents, and external service providers.

Strong analytical and financial reporting skills/ Excellent attention to detail and organizational ability.

Proficient in Microsoft office and accounting systems (e.g., INTSOFT, AutoCount....).

Good interpersonal and communication skills to work with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.

Able to work under pressure, independently, have self-motivate and confidence.

Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.

Must be a team player, proactive, inquisitive mind set, discipline and a self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimum supervision.

Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia (Proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage).
