5G-Starlink Pte. is seeking an Assistant Accountant / Accountant to manage the full accounting cycle, including progressive billing and claims, while ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

The role requires strong analytical skills, English/Mandarin/Bahasa proficiency, and experience with Autocount or ERP systems. Construction sector experience is a plus. You will support budgeting, internal controls, and tax computations.

Formación

• Diploma or degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent.
• MFRS knowledge preferred.
• Construction industry experience preferred.
• Strong integrity and business sense.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and maintain full set of accounts including progressive billing/claims.
• Maintain daily accounting records and cash flow; improve internal controls.
• Prepare yearly budget; monitor spending weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly.
• Ensure monthly, quarterly and yearly end closes.
• File documents properly for archiving.
• Prepare tax computation and CP204 estimation.
• Liaise with bankers, solicitors, authorities, auditors and tax consultants.
• Perform other duties as assigned by superior; support head of department on ad hoc tasks.

Job Description

• Preparation and maintain full set of accounts and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of data captured, including progressive billing and progressive claims.
• Maintain accurate daily accounting records, cash flow management and assist to improve on internal control, policies and procedures.
• Preparation in yearly budget includes control & monitoring budget spending in weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly.
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and yearly end close processes.
• Ensure proper filing of documents for maintenance, retrieval and archiving.
• Preparation of tax computation and tax estimation CP204.
• Liaison with banker, solicitor, relevant authority, auditor and tax consultants for all work matters related to annual audit and income tax matters etc.
• Perform any other duties assigned by superior from time to time.
• Handle and support head of department / management on ad hoc task.

Candidates Requirement:

• Candidate possess at least a Diploma, Bachelors Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Finance/ Accounting/ Banking equivalent qualification (LCCI Higher, full/ part time ACCA, CIMA or MACPA, Professional Degree)
• Preferably Senior Executive or Accountant specialized in Construction industry.
• Posses of MFRS knowledge is preferred.
• Self-motivated, strong analytical, problem-solving skills and good business acumen.
• Possess high standard of integrity and ethical practices.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience in Autocount software or ERP system is advantage.
• Affluent in English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia.
