Juken Technology Engineering Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a finance professional to manage financial accounting, trade financing, and compliance tasks. The ideal candidate will also support the implementation of a new ERP system.

• Handle the full set of accounts and ensure timely month-end and year-end closing.
• Handle trade financing tasks, including LC and trust receipts.
• Analyze product costing and ensure accuracy in cost data.
• Assist in annual audit preparation and coordinate with external auditors.
• Support the implementation of the new ERP system.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Financial Accounting & Reporting Handle the full set of accounts and ensure timely month-end and year-end closing. Prepare monthly management reports. Support the Finance Manager in overall financial management and serve as backup when required.


• Trade Financing Handle trade financing tasks, including LC (Letter of Credit), trust receipts, bank facilities, and related documentation. Liaise with banks on financing arrangements and monitor facility utilization.


• Costing & Inventory Control Handle and analyze product costing, ensuring accuracy in cost data and updates. Review and verify Bill of Materials (BOM) to ensure accuracy in material cost, price, weight, and ratio integration. Ensure proper material cost absorption to prevent under or over costing.


• Compliance & Audit Assist in annual audit preparation and coordinate with external auditors. Assist in corporate tax filing and ensure all financial submissions comply with statutory requirements.


• System & Process Improvement Support the implementation of the new ERP system, including testing, data validation, and process setup. Recommend and implement improvements to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of financial processes.
