Job summary

V.S. Industry Berhad in Kulai, Johor seeks a hands-on Equipment Assembler to join our semiconductor test systems team. You will perform mechanical/electrical assembly, wire harnessing, and ensure components meet drawings and BOM specifications.

You will test and calibrate assembled hardware, diagnose basic issues, and support continuous production. Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronic Engineering is required; 1–3 years of experience preferred, fresh graduates welcome.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronic Engineering, or related field.
• 1–3 years of hands-on experience in equipment assembly or related fields.

• Able to read technical drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Equipment Assembly: mechanical and electrical assembly using drawings and BOM.
• Wiring & Integration: route cables and build wire harnesses.
• Testing & Calibration: functional and performance tests with meters and scopes.
• Troubleshooting: diagnose and fix basic mechanical/electrical/pneumatic failures.

Job description

• Equipment Assembly: Perform mechanical and electrical assembly of semiconductor test systems, sub-assemblies, and wire harnesses using engineering drawings, schematics, and Bills of Materials (BOM).
• Wiring & Integration: Route cables, build custom wire harnesses, and terminate electrical or pneumatic components (relays, switches, circuit breakers).
• Testing & Calibration: Conduct functional, continuity, and performance tests on assembled hardware and electrical components using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and specialized testing tools.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and fix basic mechanical, electrical, or pneumatic failures during the assembly and testing process.
