AIDA MANUFACTURING (ASIA) SDN. BHD. in Pasir Gudang, Johor, is seeking an Assembly Technician (Mechanical) to join our production team.

The role involves mechanical assembly of machine parts, reading drawings, and ensuring quality, with allowances such as attendance and housing mentioned. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply and training will be provided to fit production needs.

Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in mechanical assembly or manufacturing preferred.
• Able to read basic mechanical drawings.
• Familiar with hand tools and measuring instruments.
• Able to use vernier calipers, micrometres, dial gauges and torque wrenches (added advantage).
• Overhead crane operation and forklift driving are advantages.
• Willing to work on production floor environment.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical assembly of machine parts and sub-assemblies according to drawings and work instructions.
• Install and fit mechanical components such as frames, shafts, bearings, couplings and motion parts.
• Carry out mechanical adjustment, alignment and basic functional checking.
• Assemble additional or customized mechanical modules when required.
• Conduct self inspection and support quality standards.
• Assist in packing and preparing completed units for shipment.
• Work closely with production, QA and engineering teams.

Assembly Technician (Mechanical) - Based in Pasir Gudang

• Install and fit mechanical components such as frames, shafts, bearings, couplings and motion parts.
• Carry out mechanical adjustment, alignment and basic functional checking.

Requirements

• Ability to use measuring tools such as vernier callipers, micrometres, dial gauges, and torque wrenches is an added advantage.
• Ability to operate overhead cranes safely is an added advantage.
• Ability to drive forklift or reach truck is an added advantage.
• Willing to work in production floor environment.
