Job summary

Private Advertiser in Kedah is seeking an Assembly Supervisor to oversee shift-based assembly lines, coordinating manpower, workflow and task execution to hit production targets.

Requires a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering and at least 3 years of supervisory experience. Experience with MFC assembly/manufacturing/testing is preferred.

Job description

Assembly Supervisor (MNC/CNC machining/MFC Assembly/Rotational shifts)

Supervise shift-based assembly line operations by coordinating manpower, workflow, and task execution to achieve production targets.

Monitor assembly processes and equipment performance to reduce downtime and improve output efficiency.

Ensure assembly work meets quality requirements by partnering with QA/QC to promptly address defects and non-conformities.

Maintain strict compliance with safety regulations, SOPs, and company policies across all shifts.

Lead and coach operators, manage line troubleshooting and setup/tooling needs, and ensure accurate shift handovers and production records (metrics, downtime, material usage), while supporting scrap reduction and continuous improvement.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in assembly, mechanical operations, or general manufacturing.

Preferred experience in Mass Flow Controller (MFC) assembly/manufacturing/testing or related operations.

Ability to work shift rotations (preferred immediate availability/join within 1 month), with strong leadership, decision-making, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
