Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a Production Shift Supervisor in Malaysia to oversee daily production activities, ensuring targets, quality, and on-time delivery. You will manage operators and technicians across rotating shifts and supervise CNC machining and surface treatment processes.

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor’s in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering with at least 3 years in manufacturing, including 1–2 years in supervision; CNC and surface treatment experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience, including 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience in CNC machining operations and/or surface treatment processes preferred.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production control, quality systems, and safety requirements.
• Willingness to work rotational shifts and overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production activities to meet targets, quality standards, and on-time delivery.
• Coordinate production operators and technicians during assigned shifts for smooth operations.
• Oversee CNC machining and secondary processes to ensure efficient operation and output per specs.
• Supervise surface treatment activities to ensure adherence to parameters and quality.
• Monitor production performance, machine utilization, and manpower productivity to improve efficiency.
• Ensure all work follows instructions, quality requirements, safety regulations, and policies.
• Coordinate manpower allocation, shift scheduling, workflow, and safety briefings.
