Job summary

CKD Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking an Assembly Supervisor to oversee daily assembly line operations, ensuring targets are met while maintaining quality, safety, and efficiency. You will lead a team of operators and technicians, coordinate workflow, and bridge between management and shop-floor staff.

Qualified candidates hold a Diploma or Bachelor's in Engineering/Manufacturing, with 3–5 years in assembly or production and at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or diploma in Engineering/Manufacturing or related field.
• 3–5 years in assembly/production, with 1–2 years in supervision.
• Knowledge of assembly processes, production planning, and quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise assembly line activities to meet production schedules and output targets.
• Allocate tasks and monitor team performance.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs and work instructions.
• Inspect assembly processes and finished products for quality.
• Implement corrective actions for defects or deviations.
• Collaborate with Quality Control to maintain ISO and industry certifications.

• Inspect assembly processes and finished products for compliance with quality standards.
• Implement corrective actions to address defects or process deviations.
• Collaborate with the Quality Control team to maintain ISO and industry certifications.
• Train, coach, and motivate assembly staff to improve skills and productivity.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback.
• Enforce workplace safety regulations and ensure staff use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.

About you
