Pivotal Systems Malaysia is seeking a seasoned Shift Supervisor for our Kulim Hi-Tech Park facility in Kedah. You will supervise and coordinate the assembly line, allocate manpower, and manage workflow to hit targets.
Responsibilities include monitoring processes, enforcing quality standards with QA/QC, maintaining safety SOPs, and mentoring operators on work instructions and equipment usage. You will also handle line troubleshooting, setup, handovers, and record production metrics.

Pivotal Systems – Kulim Hi-Tech Park, Kedah
Supervise and coordinate shift-based assembly line activities, manpower allocation, and operational workflow to hit production targets.
Monitor assembly processes and equipment operations to minimize downtime and optimize output.
Enforce adherence to quality standards, collaborating with QA/QC teams to resolve defective assembly issues promptly.
Maintain compliance with safety regulations, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and company policies across all shifts.
Lead, train, and mentor operators on assembly work instructions, equipment usage, and workplace safety.
Handle line troubleshooting and coordinate setup, tooling requirements, and routine maintenance schedules with relevant departments.
Ensure meticulous shift handovers and document production metrics, downtime records, and material usage.
Drive scrap reduction and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to improve cost efficiency.
Communicate effectively with Chinese-speaking stakeholders, employees, and cross-functional teams.
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in assembly, mechanical operations, or general manufacturing.
Candidates with relevant experience in Mass Flow Controller (MFC) assembly, manufacturing, testing, or related operations are preferred.
Solid understanding of assembly workflows, line balance, production line troubleshooting, and ERP/production management software.
Fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin to interface smoothly with Chinese-speaking leadership and operational staff.
Ability to work shift rotations and availability to join within 1 month is highly preferred.
Strong leadership, decision-making, problem-solving, and time-management capabilities.
