Job summary

Kejuruteraan Powerwell Sdn Bhd is seeking a supervisory professional to oversee daily manufacturing activities on the shop floor, focusing on assembly, packing, and timely delivery of panels.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong problem-solving abilities, and clear communication to coordinate operators and ensure adherence to SOPs and quality standards.

Qualifications

• SPM or Technical Certificate holder; LV/MV switchboard experience advantageous.
• 1–2 years supervisory experience in manufacturing assembly.
• Hands-on problem-solving mindset.
• Good communication and team orientation.
• Willingness to learn and grow into leadership.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily hands-on assembly, panel packing, and panel delivery tasks, ensuring adherence to quality standards and timelines.
• Carry out production tasks as assigned by the Supervisor, providing support where needed to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor operator assignments, manpower, and progress of work orders on the floor.
• Maintain floor organization, cleanliness, and safety compliance.
• Monitor proper usage of tools, PPE, and facility upkeep.
• Update the Supervisor on daily progress, manpower issues, production bottlenecks, and floor conditions.
• Comply with data entry requirements or report preparation as instructed by the Supervisor.
• Ensure assembly SOPs are followed and support basic quality checks on panels before passing to the next process.
• Identify and highlight any process or quality issues to the Supervisor for corrective action.

Requirements

• Minimum 1-2 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing assembly plant.
• Strong understanding of assembly processes and a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
