Job summary

LALALAND ART STUDIO SDN. BHD. in Mont Kiara, Kuala Lumpur is seeking a friendly Art Studio Operations person to support daily studio activities and customer service.

You will manage opening/closing, bookings, class schedules, and assist with social media content; weekend work is required. Fresh graduates are welcome; strong Mandarin and basic English preferred.

Qualifications

• Background in Fine Arts, Art Education or related field preferred.
• Good basic drawing and painting skills.
• Friendly, approachable, able to communicate with customers.
• Fluent Mandarin with basic English.
• Able to work on weekends.
• Fresh graduates welcome.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily opening, closing and studio operations.

About the Role

We are looking for a friendly, responsible and creative Art Studio Operations to support the daily operations of our art studio in Mont Kiara.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily opening, closing and general studio operations
• Welcome customers and handle enquiries, bookings and walk-ins
• Maintain a clean, organised and welcoming studio environment
• Assist with customers’s art classes when required
• Manage bookings and coordinate class, instructor and studio schedules
• Follow up with new and existing customers regarding bookings and return visits
• Assist with basic content updates for Instagram, Xiaohongshu and other social media platforms
• Support workshops, themed events and in-studio promotional activities
• Proactively handle customer follow-ups, studio organisation and content preparation during quieter periods

Requirements

• Background in Fine Arts, Art Education or a related field is preferred
• Good basic drawing and painting skills
• Friendly, approachable and comfortable communicating with customers
• Responsible, organised and able to work independently
• Fluent Mandarin with basic conversational English
• Able to work on weekends
• Basic photography, video editing, Canva or social media skills are a plus
• Experience teaching art to adults or children is a plus
• Fresh graduates with a relevant art background are welcome to apply
