Job summary

Carsome Sdn Bhd seeks a Training Specialist to coordinate and administer training programs, workshops, and learning initiatives across the organization. You will arrange schedules, venues, trainers, materials, and registrations to ensure smooth program delivery.

You will support onboarding and orientation for new employees, monitor learning plans, and gather feedback to improve development initiatives, while maintaining accurate training records and compliance with policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of HR generalist/HRBP/People & Culture experience
• Exposure to multi-site or regional coverage is a plus
• Experience in start-up, retail, fast-paced environments
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and align with central HR

Job description

Coordinate and administer training programs, workshops, and learning initiatives across the organization.

Arrange training schedules, venues, trainers, training materials, and participant registrations.

Support the execution of onboarding and orientation programs for new employees.

Ensure all training activities are conducted according to established learning and development plans.

Gather and analyze employee performance and competency gaps to recommend appropriate learning solutions.

Maintain accurate training records, attendance reports, certificates, and employee learning histories.

Conduct post-training evaluations and collect participant feedback.

Ensure mandatory training requirements are completed in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Your Know-How

• Minimum 3 years of relevant HR generalist, HRBP, or People & Culture experience, ideally with exposure to multi-site or regional coverage.
• Experience in start-up, retail, fast pace environment.
• Proven ability to work independently on the ground with minimal supervision, exercising sound judgment on escalation and prioritisation while staying closely aligned with the central HR team
• Willingness to travel within the assigned regional cluster and work across CARSOME branch locations.
• A proactive, service-oriented mindset - able to sense issues early and route them to the right owner.
• Interpersonal & Communication Skills: Good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
• Self-Starter: High initiative with a positive attitude; able to work independently and as a team player.
• Resilience: Persuasive, friendly, people-oriented, and exceptionally detail-oriented.
• Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a face-paced environment and manage the stress of a "start-up speed" expansion project ie 200% agility.
