Job summary

U Mobile in Malaysia seeks a dynamic field sales professional to visit dealer stores, provide service, and build strong relationships in the Miri and surrounding areas.

You will execute sales strategies, activate promotions, train store staff, and help dealers achieve targets. Travel daily to outstation areas is required; own car is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM/Senior UEC or equivalent with a passing result.
• Must be based in Miri, Sarawak.
• Own car and willing to travel daily to outstation area.
• At least 1-2 years of outdoor/field sales experience in telco/FMCG/retail or relevant industry.
• Able to work aggressively with dealers to meet sales targets.
• Good communication/interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Able to cope with ad hoc tasks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily visits to dealer stores to provide service and build relationships.
• Execute and monitor sales promotions; seek new opportunities to expand UM touchpoints.
• Deepen dealer loyalty through activations (Prepaid with plans and Postpaid).
• Ensure dealers have knowledge on activation systems, products, and sales techniques.
• Perform trade events and provide ground support to achieve sales targets.
• Monitor market movements and provide market intelligence.

Job Summary

To conduct daily visits to dealers stores to support Sales & Distributionactivities within assigned areas, with a focus on achieving sales targets and KPIs.

The Day-To-Day Activities

• To conduct daily visit existing dealers stores that sell U Mobile products to provide service, support and build relationship within the assigned areas.
• To execute, monitor effectiveness of sales strategy/promotion plans and seek new opportunity to expand UM touch point & pyramid.
• Continue deepening dealer’s loyalty through activations (Prepaid with plans and Postpaid).
• Ensuring dealers have proper knowledge and training on:-
  • System : Genuine and accurate activations through control system & system knowledge.
  • Product : Full range of products.
  • How to Sell : Accurate and correct information given.
  • Incentives / Pyramid : Proper guidance in building loyalty.
  • POSM : Latest & up to date POSM.
• To perform trade events, visit and provide tactical ground support to ensure optimum sales performance.
• Vigilant to market movement through market intelligence.

About You

• Education: Minimum SPM/Senior UEC or anything equivalent with a passing result.
• Must be based in Miri, Sarawak.
• Must have own car and willing to travel daily to outstation area.
• At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in outdoor/field sales in telco/FMCG/retail or any relevant industry.
• Able to aggressively work with dealers to commit sales target given.
• Good communication/interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Able to cope with ad hoc tasks given.
