Job summary

KyoChon Sdn. Bhd is seeking a restaurant operations lead in Kuala Lumpur to ensure efficient and profitable shop performance while upholding the company ethos. You will oversee staff, training, customer service, hygiene, and stock management across outlets.

The role requires hands-on leadership, cross-team coordination, and proactive problem resolution to maintain service standards and drive sales growth in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Analysing and planning restaurant sales levels and profitability to meet targets.
• Preparing shift/week reports including staff control, food control and sales.
• Co-ordinating with Headquarters on promotional events and other marketing related events.
• Provide adequate supervision for the operation of the restaurants.
• Managing and training staff and providing them with feedback.
• Responding to customer complaints.
• Ensuring that all employees adhere to the company’s Standard Operating Procedures.
• Identifying training gaps and providing coaching to all staff.
• Recruiting, motivating and staff counselling.
• Attend to complaints and update management after resolution.
• Maintaining high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health and safety.
• Ensure stock levels are adequate and authorize order supplies.
• Periodical checks of cash float and petty cash.
• Help in any area of the restaurant when circumstances dictate.

Your principal role is to ensure that the restaurant operates efficiently and profitably while maintaining company reputation and ethos. Without being exhaustive, here are some of the responsibilities which you are expected to undertake:

Business activities:

• Analysing and planning restaurant sales levels and profitability to ensure sales target achieved.
• Preparing reports at the end of the shift/week, including staff control, food control and sales.
• Co-ordinating with the Headquarters on promotional events and other marketing related events.

Outlet Operations:

• Provide adequate of levels of supervision for the entire operation of the restaurants.
• Managing and train staff and providing them with feedback.
• Responding to customer complaints.
• Ensuring that all employees adhere to the company’s Standard Operation Procedures.
• Identifying the training gaps of outlets and provide the necessary coaching and training to all staff.
• Recruiting, motivating and staff counselling.
• Attend to complaints of restaurants with complaints directly and update managements after resolution.
• Maintaining high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health and safety.
• Ensure stock levels is adequate and authorise of supplies ordering.
• Periodical check of cash float and petty cash in outlets.
• Helping in any area of the restaurant when circumstances dictate.
