Job summary

AECOM Kuala Lumpur is seeking a qualified architect to work on railway/transport projects with hybrid work arrangements. You will handle architectural calculations, prepare specifications, and liaise with design teams to produce and approve drawings.

The role may involve coordinating across disciplines and mentoring junior staff in a global project setting. The candidate should have 6–8 years of architectural experience, fluency in English, and familiarity with REVIT and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Master's or bachelor's degree in architecture recognized by the Board of Architects.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Railway/Transport projects.
• 6–8 years of experience in architectural projects; international exposure desirable.
• Registration with the Board of Architects is an advantage.
• Strong communication and presentation skills; fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic architectural/engineering calculations.
• Prepare specifications, reports and related data tables.
• Maintain liaison with design and drafting groups.
• Prepare, review, and approve drawings as required.
• Under supervision, perform advanced technical assignments within schedules and budgets.
• Coordinate activities with other disciplines and departments on projects.
• Assist in training and evaluation of assigned architectural and design staff.
