Job summary

AECOM Malaysia is seeking a skilled CAD/BIM Technician to join our design team in Petaling Jaya. You will produce drawings on CAD and BIM Revit for C&S works, ensure quality, and meet project deadlines.

With at least 5 years in design coordination within infrastructure or railway sectors, you will coordinate with BIM engineers across offices to deliver designs on schedule and maintain ISO-compliant records.

Qualifications

• Preferably with minimum 5 years of working experience in design coordination, preferably on different scales of projects within engineering design consulting business, and preferably in infrastructure and railway sector.

Responsibilities

• Produce drawings on CAD and BIM Revit model for C&S works.
• Work towards deadlines set by Project Manager or CAD/BIM Manager.
• Responsible for the quality of production.
• Prepare and update 3D BIM models for submissions.
• Participate in the production of 2D drawings from BIM models with accuracy ensuring drawings produced are according to the Office or the Client’s Drafting Standards and Procedures, and the drawing submission schedule is achieved.
• Maintain proper records of all issued & received models/drawings, Clash Reports, RFIs, BIM Register in accordance with the company’s ISO Standards and Procedures and ensure all the drawings are completed on schedule or in a timely manner.
• Support Project Team for Presentations with BIM-Model and related activities
• Work under the supervision of BIM Manager and perform work task assigned.
• Ensures timely Responsible for producing and amending engineering design drawings prepared by the Design Team and manage workload.
• Liaising with BIM engineers in other offices to help coordinate design delivery.
• Ability to produce all 2D and 3D design drawings information required for any type of structure wide range of tasks in support of the technical staff

Education

Diploma in Civil Engineering

5+ years of experience in design coordination
