Job summary

Main Contractor (Construction / Industrial Projects) in Johor is seeking an Architectural Coordinator to oversee design coordination, ensure BIM readiness, and manage on-site architectural works for a Data Centre project. You will review drawings, ensure compliance with UBBL and local regs, coordinate with consultants and clients, and supervise subcontractors to maintain quality and schedule.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Architecture, Building Science, or a related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit (BIM) is essential.
• Familiar with Malaysian UBBL and local authority requirements.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills for diverse stakeholders.
• Location: ability to be based full-time in Johor.

Responsibilities

• Design Coordination: Coordinate and review architectural drawings with structural and MEP services.
• Technical Compliance: Ensure architectural works meet project specs, codes, and safety regulations.
• Subcontractor Management: Supervise on-site architectural works and manage subcontractors.
• RFI & Documentation: Manage RFI processes and maintain technical documentation and shop drawings.
• Quality Control: Conduct site inspections to ensure workmanship meets high-tier standards for Data Centre facilities.
• Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the main contact between consultants, client reps, and site production team.

Requirements
