Job summary

Woh Hup Group in Malaysia is seeking a on-site Architectural Coordinator to review and coordinate drawing sets, ensuring alignment with structural and MEP services. The role requires full-time presence in Elmina, with close collaboration among consultants, clients, and site teams.

You will ensure compliance with local codes (UBBL) and project specifications, manage RFI processes, and supervise subcontractors to maintain high-quality workmanship on data center projects.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Architecture, Building Science, or a related field.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and communication skills to manage diverse project stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Malaysian UB LL (UBBL) and local authority requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and review architectural drawings to align with structural and MEP services.

Key Responsibilities

• Design Coordination: Coordinate and review architectural drawings to ensure alignment with structural and MEP services.
• Technical Compliance: Ensure all architectural works comply with project specifications, local building codes, and safety regulations.
• Subcontractor Management: Supervise on-site architectural works and manage subcontractors to ensure quality standards and timely progress.
• RFI & Documentation: Manage Request for Information (RFI) processes and maintain accurate technical documentation and shop drawings.
• Quality Control: Conduct site inspections to resolve technical issues and ensure workmanship meets the high-tier standards required for Data Center facilities.
• Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact between the consultants, client representatives, and the site production team.

Requirements

• Education: Degree or Diploma in Architecture, Building Science, or a related field.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit (BIM) is highly essential.
• Knowledge: Familiar with Malaysian Uniform Building By-Laws (UBBL) and local authority requirements.
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and the communication skills necessary to manage diverse project stakeholders.
• Location: Ability to be based full-time in Elmina
