Job summary

Ant International in Malaysia is building AI-native financial technology solutions in its Malaysia Tech Center. As an Applied AI Engineer, you will own end-to-end product engineering delivery in an AI-native environment.

AI is deeply embedded in how we clarify requirements, design solutions, build software, test, deploy, and continuously improve our products. You will collaborate with AI agents throughout the delivery lifecycle while applying sound engineering judgment and maintaining

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Relevant software engineering experience delivering production features.
• Proficiency in at least one general-purpose programming language with backend, APIs and DBs.
• Strong ownership and problem-solving skills, with teamwork across product and business partners.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to well-defined product features or service components, driving tasks from requirements through to production operation with team support.
• Translate product and business needs into practical designs to build secure, reliable backend services, APIs, and integrations.
• Support delivery quality and production stability through validation, release readiness, and defect fixes.
• Apply AI-native engineering practices by structuring work for AI agents with clear context and constraints.
