Job summary

Maybank is seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to ensure stability and performance of treasury-related systems across regional environments. You will handle incident resolution, monitoring, and operational support, coordinating with DBAs, Unix, Wintel, Security, and external vendors.

The role requires strong problem-solving, excellent communication, and 3–5 years in IT support, with Linux, MSSQL, Oracle experience and the ability to work under pressure in a regional setup.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years IT support experience in regional or multi-site environments.
• 3+ years Linux experience (OpenShift, Kubernetes).
• 3+ years MSSQL database experience.
• 5+ years technical support experience.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to support diverse stakeholders.
• Linux and Windows server environments.
• Oracle and MSSQL databases (SQL scripting experience required).
• Networking, firewall general troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience in system performance monitoring, troubleshooting outages.

• Maintain documentation and knowledge base.
