Job summary

CADVision Systems Sdn Bhd, an authorized SOLIDWORKS and SolidCAM partner in Malaysia, seeks an Applications Engineer in Bukit Mertajam, Penang. You will provide hands-on technical support, perform product demonstrations, and help customers integrate SOLIDWORKS into their workflows.

You will also conduct training, create documentation, and interact with clients to tailor solutions. Fresh graduates are welcome. Travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Understanding of engineering principles and design workflows.
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM tools and related technologies; SOLIDWORKS knowledge is a plus.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Able to articulate engineering information clearly.
• Ability to create and organize work documentation.
• Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customers using SOLIDWORKS and resolve software issues.
• Collaborate with the sales team in pre-sales activities via demonstrations and technical presentations.

You will play an important role, such as:

• Provide technical support to customers using SOLIDWORKS, addressing software issues and resolving technical queries.

Who are we looking for this role:

• Priority is given to Singaporean candidates to better serve local-sensitive customers who often require or prefer a Singaporean Application Engineer for regulatory and trust reasons.
• Certification in SOLIDWORKS (e.g., CSWA, CSWP) is highly desirable.
