Job summary
Grundfos in Malaysia is seeking an Application Engineer for Commercial Building Services to design, size and present pumping solutions across HVAC, data centres and wastewater, maximizing energy efficiency and system performance.
You will collaborate with sales, customers and consultants to influence technical decisions, prepare technical proposals and ensure compliant, high-performance solutions for projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or related field.
- 3–8 years in technical engineering, application engineering, or sales support.
- Deep understanding of system design in commercial building applications (HVAC, Plumbing, Sanitary).
Responsibilities
- Perform pump selection, sizing and solution configuration for HVAC, Pressure Boosting, Wastewater and Data Centre applications.
- Prepare concise technical proposals and presentations for energy-efficient, technically optimized solutions.
- Support Sales Engineers in opportunity development, solution specification and technical positioning.
- Act as a subject matter expert for assigned applications with knowledge of products, standards and market trends.
- Engage customers, consultants and distributors to tailor specification text to proposed solutions.
- Prepare application-focused training materials and participate in knowledge-sharing sessions.
