Job summary
Grundfos is seeking an Application Engineer to deliver specialized application engineering across HVAC, supply, and data centre projects, designing and sizing pumping solutions that optimize energy efficiency and system performance for customers and project stakeholders.
As part of Commercial Applications Engineering, you will collaborate with sales, customers and consultants, prepare concise proposals, and act as a subject matter expert.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- 3–8 years of experience in technical engineering, application engineering, or sales support.
- Deep understanding of system design in at least one commercial building application (HVAC, Plumbing, Sanitary, or similar).
- Experience with solution configuration, pump sizing, and technical proposal preparation.
Responsibilities
- Perform pump sizing and solution configuration for HVAC, Pressure Boosting, Wastewater, and Data Centre applications.
- Prepare technical proposals and presentations for energy-efficient solutions.
- Support sales engineers in opportunity development and technical positioning.
- Act as a subject matter expert on assigned applications and industry standards.
- Engage customers, consultants, and distributors to tailor specifications.
- Prepare training materials and share knowledge with sales teams and distributors.
