Job summary

Quasi-S Sdn Bhd is seeking an Applications Engineer to perform and support advanced material characterization using SEM/EDX, FESEM, AFM, Raman, FTIR, cross-sectional and metallographic examinations. You will assist the Lab Supervisor to maintain the quality management system and operate lab equipment, while generating formal test reports for customers.

• Minimum degree holder in a related field.
• Preferably 1 year of related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform and support SEM/EDX, FESEM, AFM, Raman, FTIR, cross-sectional, and metallographic examinations.
• Assist Lab Supervisor/Lab Head in maintaining the quality management system and improving effectiveness.
• Assist in operating and maintaining testing equipment.
• Issue formal test reports with authorised signatory.
• Communicate with customers on sample testing.
• Carry out tasks instructed by Lab Supervisor/Lab Head.
