Job summary

Demant in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Regional IT Support Specialist to join our Global IT team. You will provide Level 1 and 2 IT support across Asia Pacific, including Australia, New Zealand, and Southeast Asia, acting as a key contact for end users and delivering high-quality technical support.

The role requires strong troubleshooting, stakeholder collaboration across multiple countries, and a customer-first mindset.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in an IT support or Service Desk environment.
• MSP experience is a plus.
• Experience providing technical support to end users remotely and onsite.
• Strong knowledge of desktop hardware, software, OS, and networking fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 IT support via phone, email, remote access, and onsite.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and configure hardware, software, and peripherals.
• Deliver IT services per ITIL-based processes (incident, request, change, release, service catalogue).
• Administer user accounts and access permissions.
• Coordinate procurement and deployment of IT hardware and equipment.
• Install, configure, maintain, and support IT infrastructure and end-user devices.
• Ensure room and AV equipment is operational and coordinate repairs with suppliers.
• Support regional production systems per service catalogue commitments.
• Accurately record incidents, requests, tasks, and time entries in ServiceNow.
• Maintain asset records and technical documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve IT services and user experience.
