Job summary

TE Connectivity Ltd. in Malaysia is seeking an HR Policy Manager to oversee the effective execution of global and regional HR projects, and to ensure governance and compliance across the employee lifecycle.

You will develop and localize HR policies for APAC, deliver training, monitor labor laws, and drive continuous improvement of HR systems to enhance efficiency and employee experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of HR experience, preferably in an MNC Manufacturing environment.
• Experience localizing HR policies and handbooks across APAC countries, including China.
• Knowledge of local employment law compliance and HR governance practices.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with ability to influence stakeholders.
• Proficient in HR systems and digital tools (HRIS, case management, MS Office).

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and improve HR policies to ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate standards.
• Establish a structured policy management framework with documentation, approvals, and audit trails.
• Own HR policies end-to-end from drafting to retirement and review.
• Monitor local labor laws and translate changes into actionable policies.
• Assess compliance risks and update policies to mitigate exposure.
• Design and deliver training on HR policies, compliance, and best practices.
• Lead and support global, regional, and local HR initiatives and projects.
• Manage employee relations, including disciplinary processes and grievance handling.
• Support day-to-day HR operations and compliance reporting.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of HR systems and workflows.
