Job summary
CMA CGM is seeking an Application Managed Service Expert to lead technical projects, standardize applications, and improve availability across the APAC region. You will apply hands-on Java and .NET development experience to drive operational efficiency, governance, and secure deployment practices.
Reporting to the Head of Business IT Applications, APAC (based in Hong Kong), you will collaborate with vendors and internal teams to optimize processes, automate workflows, and monitor performance
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related field.
- At least 8 years of experience in software application development and support, with hands-on Java, .NET.
- Strong knowledge of APIs, cloud systems, security, DevOps, and testing methodologies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in Shipping Industry is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day applications support activities across APAC region.
- Lead and deliver technical projects, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Develop and enforce standards for architecture, coding, and deployment.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to manage incidents and upgrades.
- Lead incident management, root cause analysis, and long-term solutions.
- Define and monitor application availability metrics and SLAs.
- Drive automation and continuous improvement of AMS processes.
