Job summary

CMA CGM Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking an Application Managed Service Expert to lead critical AMS projects across the APAC region. You will drive standardization, reliability, and security for applications built in Java and .NET, collaborating with vendors and internal teams.

Reporting to the Head of Business IT Applications, APAC, based in Hong Kong, you will oversee incident management, modernization efforts including cloud migrations, and automation initiatives while mentoring teams for

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years in software application development and support.
• Hands-on experience with Java, .NET, and Power Platform.
• Strong knowledge of APIs, cloud, security, and DevOps practices.
• Experience with databases (relational and NoSQL) and web development.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and cross-team collaboration skills.
• Shipping industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day applications support across APAC and manage incidents within SLA.
• Lead technical projects, ensure governance, security, and change management.
• Develop standards for architecture, coding, deployment, and modernization.
• Manage application lifecycle including cloud migrations and retirement of obsolescent components.
• Improve availability and quality by incident root-cause analysis and long-term fixes.
• Coordinate with infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, and vendor teams for delivery.
• Ensure secure development practices and conduct security reviews.
• Review performance tests and ensure deployment readiness; drive automation initiatives.
• Provide technical leadership and cross-team guidance across AMS vendors and internal teams.
