Job summary

RBC Capital Markets seeks a talented Analyst to support the Client Intelligence team in Putrajaya, Malaysia. You will collaborate cross-functionally to compile data analyses for desk leadership, and you will help streamline pricing and execution workflows for structured products across FICC and Equity groups.

What is the opportunity?

The RBC Capital Markets Client Intelligence team plays an integral role in support of the firm’s key strategic client initiatives. The Client Intelligence team is part of the Business Resource Management division which supports all global businesses within Capital Markets including Global Markets Sales & Trading, Corporate Banking & Investment Banking.

Working Hours : 9.00AM -6.00PM

What will you do?

• Internal RBC collaboration to collate and prepare data analysis for Sales & Structuring Desk Head for management review
• Streamline the workflow on the pricing and execution of Structured products for FICC and Equity offering.
• Limited to structuring support only
• No client-facing activities

What you need to succeed

Must Have

• Solid understanding of derivatives and options markets, including pricing, risk management, and ability to structure basic option products
• Deep knowledge of at least one market segment: Structured Rates, FX, Commodities, Credit, Equity, or Quantitative Investment Strategies
• Ability to perform effectively in high-pressure environments
• 3-4 years of related working experience

Nice to have

• Programming experience in Python, C++, Java, or equivalent languages, in addition to VBA
• Understanding of basic pricing models and quantitative methodologies
• Proficiency with automation tools, including AI-enabled solutions
• Experience designing and implementing automation solutions, APIs, and databases
• Demonstrated ability to conduct back-testing and generate performance reports
