Job summary

AIA Digital+ in Kuala Lumpur seeks a driven AI/Business Analyst intern to partner with stakeholders to produce high-quality requirements, test plans, user guides, and other documentation. The role emphasizes AI-assisted data analysis and structured deliverables to support project success.

You will assist with solution brainstorming, UI/UX mockups, PoCs, and system support, while training and communicating with teams. This role offers hands-on SDLC exposure in a client-facing environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in AI or related field.
• Hands-on internship in AI using pre-trained models and APIs (e.g., Azure OpenAI).
• Strong ability to analyze, interpret and communicate business information.
• Willing to work at client office (KL city center).

Responsibilities

• Gather and document business requirements through workshops and stakeholder discussions.
• Analyze requirements and translate into business capabilities and functional needs.
• Perform data analysis, mapping, and identify gaps or discrepancies.
• Prepare and maintain key project documents (requirements, specifications, test plans, user guides).
• Ensure all documentation is clear, structured, and high quality.
• Collaborate with architects and developers on solution design and PoC activities.
• Assist with documentation standards, taxonomy, and tagging for AI and data usage.
• Act as a bridge between business and technical teams, including training and communication support.
• Manage requirement changes and follow SDLC processes.
• Use AI tools to generate responsible deliverables and validate content before release.
• Brainstorm high-level solutions with solution architects and developers for PoCs.

Job description

With the use of AI to improve efficiency of daily tasks, the primary focus is to work with stakeholders to produce good quality requirements, test plan, user guide and other documentation. The secondary focus is to assist with solution brainstorming, including UI/UX mockups, PoCs and system support.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Gather and document business requirements through workshops and stakeholder discussions.
• Analyze requirements and translate them into business capabilities and functional needs.
• Perform data analysis, mapping, and identify gaps or discrepancies.
• Prepare and maintain key project documents (e.g., requirements, specifications, test plans, user guides).
• Ensure all documentation is clear, structured, and high quality.

• Assist with documentation standards, taxonomy, and tagging for better AI and data usage.
• Act as a bridge between business and technical teams, including training and communication support.
• Manage requirement changes, follow SDLC processes, and take ownership of deliverables while continuously learning and improving.
• Use AI tools to assist in generating responsible deliverables. Validate content and ensure accuracy before releasing them to other stakeholders.
• Work with solution architects and developers to brainstorm high level solutions, support Proof of Concept (PoC) activities, e.g. UI/UX mock-up, prototype.

Job Requirements

• Degree in AI or a related field.
• Possesses hands‑on internship experience in artificial intelligence, including the use of pre‑trained models and APIs (e.g., Azure OpenAI) for practical applications, etc.
• Strong ability to analyze, interpret, and communicate business information.
• Able to build effective relationships with clients and team members.
• Basic understanding of scripts, code, XML, or YAML (writing is a plus).
• Familiar with AI technologies and able to adopt and apply them to improve efficiency.
• Willing to work at client office (KL city center) as required.
• Exposure to web or mobile app development (e.g., school projects) is an advantage.
• Knowledge of AI/analytics concepts (e.g., GenAI, LLMs, chatbot, ML, OCR, RAG) and tools (e.g., Figma) is a plus.
