Job summary

AIA Digital+ is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst to capture and translate business needs into technical requirements within our Asia-Pacific health initiative. You will work closely with clients and developers to ensure functional specs align with business goals and regulatory needs.

The role requires 6+ years in IT, 4+ years as a BA, and comfort with insurance processes. Strong communication and relationship-building are essential for success in a fast-paced, transformative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or above in IT related disciplines.
• Minimum 6 years in progressive IT sector.
• Minimum 4 years of experience as a business analyst.
• Familiar with insurance domain is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Capturing, documenting and structuring use cases.
• Analyzing and developing functional specification documents.
• Identify and capture/document business goals and provide business solution to clients.
• Identify assumptions, constraints, issues and risks.
• Play translator role between users and developers.
• Perform system testing and support users’ acceptance testing.
• Offer system training to users.
• Be responsible for system implementation.

Job Requirement:

• bachelor degree or above in IT related disciplines


• minimum 6 years in progressive IT Sector


• minimum 4 years of experience as a business analyst


• ability to analyze, interpret and communicate business information to both internal and external stakeholders of the project


• ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members


• be familiar with the methodology of requirements development and requirements change management


• nice to be familiar with Agile or other software development process


• experience with insurance institutions is plus


• DB and Java developer experience is plus


• be Familiar with insurance business
