Job summary

AIA Digital+ in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia is seeking a detail-oriented Tester/QA to implement test work based on user requirements and improve testing efficiency with AI tooling.

You'll perform testing activities across requirements, test plans, and test cases, support SIT/UAT, and collaborate with IT and business users while ensuring security, compliance and quality are maintained. Knowledge of SDLC and databases is essential, and familiarity with cloud testing is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in IT related disciplines.
• Knowledge of Software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Database experience is a MUST.
• Good understanding of testing process and methodology.
• Good understanding of insurance business is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform the testing activities including requirement clarification, test approach discovery, test plan/case creation, Test Strategy/Closure report.
• Research on new technique including automation/performance/cloud testing tool.
• Support SIT/UAT as user request.
• Monitor all deliverables are aligned with security, compliance, and design principles through focus on quality.
• Collaborate with IT and business users.
• Leverage AI to improve testing efficiency.
• Performs other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by supervisor in order to meet operational and/or other requirements.

About the Role

This position is to implement the test work based on user requirements.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Weekly progress report of assigned tasks.

Discussion within team on the solution/issue found during the completion of assigned tasks.

Build trust with colleagues in design, development and testing team.

Discussion with external counter parties on the solution/issues found during the completion of assigned tasks.
