Job summary

AIA Digital+ in Malaysia seeks a hands-on Business Analyst to translate business needs into clear requirements for mobile applications. You will collaborate with stakeholders, outline workflows, and craft user stories within an Agile environment.

You will analyze processes, perform GAP analyses, support SIT/UAT, and help line up IT solutions that meet user needs. Insurance domain experience is helpful, and strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• 2 years of BA experience on mobile app projects; familiar with Agile and user story writing.
• Strong knowledge of software development life cycle and processes.
• Experience in collaborative onshore/offshore teams.
• Experience in Insurance domain is advantageous.
• Testing management experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with stakeholders to review, analyze, and evaluate business applications and user needs.
• Perform requirements analysis, documents requirements, and revise existing system logic, business processes and workflows as necessary.
• Identify business needs and define actions to improve the operation of IT systems.
• Create user stories to manage requirements in Agile working model.
• Manage internal stakeholders to drive SIT / UAT.
• Line up application teams to come out with IT solution according to user requirements.

About the Role

Responsible for business analyst roles.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Liaise with stakeholders to review, analyze, and evaluate business applications and user needs
• Perform requirements analysis, documents requirements, and revise existing system logic, business processes and workflows as necessary
• Identity business needs and define actions to improve the operation of IT systems
• Create user stories to manage requirements in Agile working model
• Manage internal stakeholders to drive SIT / UAT
• Line up application teams to come out with IT solution according to user requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• 2years Business Analyst experience on Mobile Application related projects. Have experience in Agile working model and user story writing.
• Comprehensive knowledge of software development process, including software design and programming
• Experience working in a collaborative team environment (onshore and offshore)
• Advanced knowledge and ability to perform GAP analysis, process mapping, root cause analysis, risk analysis and requirements gathering
• Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in Insurance Domain is advantageous but not necessary
• Having Testing Management experience is a plus
