You will oversee P&L, compliance, and digital transformation initiatives while building a high-performing team focused on service excellence for high-value verticals including Semiconductor, Aerospace, Consumer Electronics, and Medical Devices.

• Lead, optimize, and grow company's global airfreight product and operational capabilities. This strategic leadership role requires a mix of commercial acumen, strong carrier procurement skills, and data-driven operational management. You will be responsible for building strategic airline alliances, managing procurement and capacity, driving profitability, and ensuring an elite customer experience across key verticals like Semiconductor, Aerospace (including AOG), Consumer Electronics, and Medical Devices.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Product Development

• Formulate and execute regional airfreight strategies in alignment with company's global corporate goals and digital logistics transformation initiatives.
• Analyze market trends, air capacity dynamics, and pricing fluctuations to proactively position company as a preferred air freight partner.
• Develop customized time-critical and specialty service models, including charter services and cross-border multimodal air solutions.
• Lead high-level negotiations with global and regional commercial airlines to secure optimal space block agreements (BSAs) and competitive rate structures.
• Oversee regional consolidation hubs, monitoring airline performance, procurement metrics, and supplier compliance.
• Resolve structural escalations with airlines, tracking partner KPIs to guarantee service reliability during peak seasons.

Operations & Compliance Excellence

• Supervise end-to-end import and export airfreight operations, prioritizing documentation accuracy (MAWB/HAWB, manifest execution, customs compliance).
• Standardize operational SOPs to ensure seamless coordination between customer service teams, customs brokerage, and local warehouses.
• Enforce absolute compliance with IATA, CTPAT, TAPA, and ISO 9001:2015 regulations.
• Take full accountability for the airfreight division's P&L, annual budget, and cost margin optimization.
• Partner closely with the Business Development team to respond to global RFQs and architect high-value client proposals.
• Drive digital efficiency by ensuring advanced optimization and tracking via company's proprietary logistics software systems.
• Manage, mentor, and build a high-performance freight operations and customer service team.
• Driving employee competency assessments and KPI milestones.

Job Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in the airfreight forwarding industry
