Job summary

AGENSI PEKERJAAN TRUST RECRUIT Sdn Bhd is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage day-to-day operations for land transport and air freight, handling imports and exports. You will assist with bookings, documentation, tracking, and customer communication, coordinating with operations, customs, transport and accounts teams to keep shipments organized and on schedule.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration or a related field.
• Preferably 1 to 3 years of experience in freight forwarding, transport coordination, air freight operations, logistics customer service or related role.
• Basic understanding of import and export processes and common shipment documents.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily transport bookings and scheduling for import collections, export deliveries and local cargo movements, including cross-border movements where applicable.
• Liaise with transporters, drivers, customers and warehouses to confirm vehicle availability, collection and delivery appointments, cargo details and handling requirements.
• Prepare and follow up transport instructions, delivery orders and related documents; coordinate collection and delivery around cargo readiness, customs release and receiving arrangements.
• Monitor truck movements and delivery progress; obtain proof of delivery and follow up outstanding documents; escalate delays, failed deliveries, cargo discrepancies or additional charges promptly.
• For imports/exports, assist with airline bookings, flight schedules, cargo collection and terminal delivery arrangements; follow up booking confirmations and cut-off times.
