Job summary

AIRGENS MACHINERY (SARAWAK) SDN BHD is seeking a skilled Air Compressor Service Technician to join our team in Kuching. You will service, troubleshoot and repair air compressors and related systems at customer sites, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnose faults across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and control systems, and document outcomes through detailed service reports.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in air compressor servicing and preventive maintenance is highly preferred.
• Experience with industrial compressors and compressed air systems is an advantage.
• Qualification in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics related field.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication in Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, troubleshoot and repair air compressors and compressed air systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on compressors, dryers, pumps and related equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and control-system faults.
• Carry out compressor overhauling and component replacement.
• Attend customer sites for breakdowns, servicing and technical support.
• Conduct testing and commissioning of compressor systems.
• Prepare service reports and maintenance records.
