Job summary

Ingersoll Rand Malaysia Co Sdn Bhd is seeking a Services Engineer to install, inspect, diagnose and maintain compressed air systems at commercial and industrial sites, and to deliver on-site and classroom training to customers.

You will document field service quality reports, provide proactive technical recommendations, and ensure activities comply with HSE policies and local regulations while building strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in service, installation, site commissioning.
• Experience in industrial equipment, compressors, rotating equipment, pumps, blowers, generators, HVAC, or other electromechanical systems.
• Dynamic and able to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player as well as the ability to work independently.
• Valid driving license.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, inspection, diagnose, maintenance and rectification on compressed air system at various commercial and industrial establishments.
• Conduct site and classroom training to customers on compressed air systems.
• Recommend necessary actions to improve the efficiency and reliability of customer's compressed air system.
• General service report writing for internal and external customers.
• Document and prepare field service quality reports.
• Feedback specific product defects to the production department and assist customers to take corrective measures.
• Ensure all service activities are performed in compliance with company HSE policies, customer safety requirements, and local regulations.
• Establish and maintain strong customer relationships through professional service delivery and proactive technical recommendations.
