Job summary

Ingersoll Rand Malaysia Co Sdn Bhd is seeking a field service engineer to perform installation, inspection, diagnose, maintenance and rectification on compressed air systems at various commercial and industrial sites. You will also conduct on-site and classroom training for customers, ensuring safety and reliability.

The role requires a Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with at least 3 years in service and site commissioning, and experience with compressors, rotating equipment, pumps,

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in service, installation, site commissioning.
• Experience in industrial equipment, compressors, rotating equipment, pumps, blowers, generators, HVAC, or other electromechanical systems.
• Dynamic and able to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player as well as the ability to work independently.
• Valid driving license.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, inspection, diagnose, maintenance and rectification on compressed air system at various commercial and industrial establishments.
• Conduct site and classroom training to customers on compressed air system.
• Recommend necessary actions to improve the efficiency and reliability of customer's compressed air system.
• General service report writing for internal and external customers.
• Document and prepare field service quality reports.
• Feedback specific product defects to the production department and assist customers to take corrective measures.
• Ensure all service activities are performed in compliance with company HSE policies, customer safety requirements, and local regulations.
• Establish and maintain strong customer relationships through professional service delivery and proactive technical recommendations.
