Job summary

Teleport in Penang is seeking a Logistics Associate to join our air cargo operations team. You will be responsible for daily cargo handling tasks, ensuring shipments are received, sorted and prepped for flight while maintaining accurate records and strict safety standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Aviation Management, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in air cargo operations or airline capacity management.
• Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and data-entry software.
• Meticulous with data accuracy and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Execute cargo handling procedures: receive, sort, and prep cargo for flight with system-aligned movements.
• Monitor ground performance by tracking loading/unloading of shipments in real-time and flag discrepancies.
• Troubleshoot routine handling issues like label discrepancies or minor packaging damage.
• Maintain operational documentation: record shipment timestamps, ULD positions, and flight manifests.
• Support safety & compliance: adhere to safety and Dangerous Goods regulations.
