Job summary

Thecorridors is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to expand our footprint in the air cargo logistics sector as a GSA for airline cargo services. You will drive growth by targeting freight forwarders, shippers, and strategic partners.

This role requires a proven track record in biz dev or sales within cargo or logistics, strong networking skills, and the ability to travel as needed. You will partner with internal teams to tailor solutions and present compelling proposals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field, MBA preferred.
• Minimum four years' experience in business development or sales in airline cargo or logistics.
• Strong understanding of air cargo operations, trends and market dynamics.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with CRM and MS Office.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strategic client relationships.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Results-driven with focus on sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute BD strategies to increase market share and revenue for the airline cargo GSA.
• Identify and engage potential clients, including freight forwarders and shippers.
• Build and maintain relationships with existing clients and ensure service excellence.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, competition, and growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions for clients.
• Represent the company at industry events to network and promote services.
• Prepare proposals, contracts, and presentations for prospective clients.
• Monitor sales performance and report key metrics to management.
• Stay updated on industry regulations and compliance.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements within BD.
