Flex Ltd. is seeking an AI Technical Assistant Project Manager (AI TPM) in Penang to drive AI/automation projects. You will work with cross-functional teams, manage timelines, and ensure robust data for AI/ML workflows.

Strong programming and presentation skills are required for technical and non-technical audiences. Ideal candidates hold a CS/IS degree, 8–10 years in PM with at least 3 years in AI/automation, PMP or Agile certs, and a track record of deploying ML models in production.

• PM experience in AI/automation projects is required.
• PMP or Agile certification preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead AI/automation projects across cross-functional teams.
• Manage project lifecycles, risks and resources.
• Maintain technical documentation and reporting.

Job Summary

To support our continued growth and delivery of high‑quality products, we are seeking an AI Technical Assistant Project Manager (AI TPM) based at Batu Kawan, Penang to join our team.

What a typical day looks like: Good experience in Al algorithms of Classification & Detection, Time-Series & Predictive Models, Anomaly Detection, Reinforcement Learning, Clustering & Recommendation.

Good understanding of AI/automation workflows, system integration and project lifecycle.

Agile/Scrum methodologies, Jira/Confluence.

Risk management, resource planning and technical documentation.

Strong experience in AI Algorithms and its applications.

Strong experience in programming and coding.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team: Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

PMP or Agile certification preferred.

8–10 years in project management, with at least 3 years in AI/automation projects.

Proven ability to manage cross functional teams and complex timelines.

Experience supporting AI/ML workflows with clean, reliable data.

Proven track record of deploying ML models in production environments.

Strong problem‑solving and analytical mindset.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, or collaboratively in teams.

Strong programming and coding discipline across multiple languages.

Excellent communication and presentation skills to technical and non‑technical audiences.

Teamwork, adaptability, and proactive engagement.

Professional documentation and reporting skills.
