Job summary

Standard Chartered is seeking an AI Search Optimization and SEO Lead to shape how Wealth and Retail Banking products are discovered across search engines, AI assistants and emerging discovery platforms. You will drive from traditional SEO towards AI-driven discovery and govern an enterprise content strategy.

Reporting to the Head of Discovery, you will collaborate with Product, Marketing, Analytics and Technology teams, lead cross-functional initiatives and ensure responsible, measurable growth

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ SEO/digital discovery experience in multi-market organisations.
• Strong strategic and technical SEO with AI/AI Search programme exposure.
• Experience with prompt intelligence, citation intelligence and automation.
• Ability to link discoverability to demand, acquisition and brand authority.
• Cross-functional leadership across Product, Marketing, Analytics, Risk and Compliance.
• Experience in Wealth/Retail Banking or financial services preferred.
• Proficiency with Google/Bing tools and analytics platforms; familiarity with AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Define and support AI Search Optimization strategy (AEO, GEO, SEO) aligned to needs and priorities.
• Establish roadmap, operating model and governance to scale AI Search across markets.
• Develop enterprise content strategy to boost visibility, citations and recommendations.
• Collaborate with Product, Technology and Content to enhance discoverability and data quality.
• Build intelligence capabilities to translate insights into content and distribution strategies.
• Leverage GenAI and agents to automate research, diagnostics and reporting.
• Define measurement framework covering citations, presence, acquisition, engagement and brand authority.
