Job summary

IBM Consulting in Malaysia is seeking an Applied AI Specialist to design, implement, and operate AI-driven solutions for AI-first Application Management Services, collaborating with stakeholders to deliver scalable, value-driven operations.

You will work across observability, telemetry, and governance frameworks to ensure production readiness, reliability, and responsible AI practices while optimizing agent performance and impact.

Qualifications

• Experience designing scalable, user-centric AI capabilities that automate workflows.
• Experience implementing AI-driven solutions that integrate with observability, telemetry, and event management platforms.
• Experience with model evaluation, prompt refinement, and agent configuration.
• Experience managing production stability, performance thresholds, and compliance requirements for AI solutions.
• Experience with Agentic AI frameworks, AI orchestration platforms, and automation technologies.

Responsibilities

• Solution Design: Translating business and operational requirements into scalable, user-centric AI capabilities that automate workflows, augment decision-making, and improve service delivery.
• AI Implementation: Implementing and managing AI-driven solutions that integrate with observability, telemetry, event management, and operational monitoring platforms.
• Performance Optimization: Monitoring and optimizing agent performance through model evaluation, prompt refinement, agent configuration, and logic enhancements to improve accuracy, reliability, and business outcomes.
• Operational Governance: Maintaining operational governance of AI solutions by managing production stability, performance thresholds, compliance requirements, risk controls, and responsible AI practices.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborating with application operations, platform operations, engineering, architecture, and business stakeholders to design, deploy, and continuously improve agent-based solutions.
