Job summary

Private Advertiser in Malaysia is seeking an experienced AI Engineer (Python) to design, build and maintain internal e-commerce systems. This hands-on role offers direct access to the founder and real ownership of what you ship, with no legacy codebase to slow you down.

You will integrate SP-API and Advertising API, build data pipelines, deploy AI agents, and own AWS-hosted infrastructure, collaborating with a lean team to turn messy business problems into reliable software solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong Python development experience and system design.
• Experience integrating third-party REST APIs (OAuth, pagination, rate limits).
• Experience with AI coding tools (Claude Code).
• Experience with LLM APIs—prompt design and structured output.
• SQL and data modelling familiarity.
• Ubuntu, Git, deployment and operations.

Responsibilities

• Integrate SP-API and Advertising API (orders, settlements, inventory, FBA, catalog, ads reports).
• Design and ship features for internal ops platform: data pipelines, reconciliation, forecasting, dashboards, tooling.
• Build AI agents to automate workflows (ads bids, inventory, demand projection, settlement reconciliation).
• Write reliable data pipelines with scheduled jobs, rate limit retries, data validation.
